Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an experienced Social Media Director at Neptune Cigars Inc. The Social Media Director will be responsible for managing and executing social media marketing campaigns, creating engaging content, monitoring social media channels, optimizing social media strategies, creating influencer relationships, demonstrating positive return and overseeing public relations efforts. This role is primarily based in Miami, FL, with flexibility for some remote work.

Due to the nature of our business(tobacco), we can’t do pay per click campaign or any other paid marketing, so candidate would have to demonstrate full creativity to promote our channels without paid promotion. He/She will be in charge of working with our employees and content creators (photograph, writer, reviewers, graphists, video….), extracting and organizing our contents, posting them regularly on all our social media, architecting promotion campaign/games/raffles, working with influencers, providing reports to top management about social media and influencers activities. In addition of managing our main Neptune social media accounts, the candidate will also be in charge of managing our sister companies social media accounts for Cigar Scanner (www.cigarscanner.com ) and Plantern Corp (www.plantern.us ).

While being a leader in our industry, Neptune Cigars has kept that startup spirit that lead to better work flow and great innovation, this position is for a hands-on person that is curious enough to observe where the contents are, extract and organize them and share on our social media while providing useful report to management.

Qualifications

• Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) skills
• Excellent communication and public relations skills
• Experience in developing content strategies for social media platforms
• Experience in creating unpaid viral successful social media campaigns
• Strong creative and analytical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Engaging team leader, to be able to collect contents or ideas from our own employees (in store, customer service, suppliers…)
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
• Knowledge of the cigar industry or passion for cigars is a plus
• Content creation skills a plus
• Influencers experience and relationship a plus

Role and Duties:

• Manage all social medias: respond to customers, post new contents regularly….
• Run analytics and send Management weekly performance reports 
• Visit regularly our stores locations and work with our knowledgeable staffs to create contents to post
• Create incentive for employee to create or give ideas for contents 
• Work with our Purchasing department to get supplier interview or contents for new products all year long
• Promote to social influencer using dedicated influencer’s websites
• Promote in store events and cover them to post pictures and videos online

This is an on-site/remote hybrid job, located in MIAMI, FL 33125. Only candidates that are allowed to work in the US will be considered. Relocation package can be considered for the right candidate.
