Social Media Marketing Intern

I am an award-winning Santa Fe, NM author, editor and writing instructor who has just launched a new poetry book. I also have a memoir coming out later this year and yet another poetry collection coming out next April. All of this will require a great deal of marketing and promotion. As such, I am looking to hire a part-time intern to help me build my social media platform and identify, contact, schedule and track readings, workshops, interviews and other marketing opportunities. 

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated and eager to develop your skills and learn more about the writing, publishing and marketing fields through hands-on, real-world experience. 

I have more than 40 years experience as a journalist, public relations professional, teacher and author. I have taught at Western Washington University, the Port Townsend Writers Conference and the Institute of American Indian Arts, and through numerous workshops I have offered. I’ve done readings across the country and have published five books of poetry and hundreds of poems in journals and anthologies.
