Our goal is to build a Data Warehouse that can cater to batch and streaming data, Data Products that provide useful information to build efficient data metrics & dashboards which will be used to make smarter business decisions to support business growth. We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship in 2024. Internships at TikTok aim to offer students industry exposure and hands-on experience. Turn your ambitions into reality as your inspiration brings infinite opportunities at TikTok.
This Internship Program runs for 10-24 weeks. Candidates can also apply for both Off-cycle Intern position and Program Intern position.

Responsibilities Participate in the construction of offline and real-time data warehouses for TikTok Live business; Handle PB-level large-scale data, processing hundreds of billions of users data daily; Provide services for the entire lifecycle of big data, covering data generation, transmission, modeling, statistical analysis, experiment evaluation, and visualization; Build and design well-structured data flows, data warehouses, scheduling systems, query engines, data services, analysis systems, process specifications, and data tools/products to lower the threshold for data usage and ensure stable and efficient system operation, maximizing the value of the data.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Students graduating in 2025 or later, currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in computer science, software engineering, or related fields; Solid foundation with strong coding skills and a keen interest in learning new technologies; Experience with big data tools/frameworks such as Spark, Hadoop, Hive, Flink, Kafka, HBase, etc. is preferred; Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.
Preferred Qualifications: Availability for a 24 week internship is preferred.

The hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $45- $45. We cover 100% premium coverage for Full-Time intern medical insurance after 90 days from the date of hire. Medical coverage only, no dental or vision coverage.
Our time off and leave plans are: Paid holidays and paid sick leave. The sick leave entitlement is based on the time you join.
