Spanish Translator

Responsibilities:

• Translate written content accurately and efficiently from English to Spanish and Spanish to English.
• Ensure translated texts maintain the original meaning, tone, and style of the source material.
• Proofread and edit translated texts to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
• Conduct research when necessary to ensure accurate translation of specialized terminology.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to clarify translation requirements and address any concerns or questions.
• Adhere to deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively to meet project goals.
• Stay updated on industry-specific terminology and language trends.

Requirements:

• Fluency in both English and Spanish, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
• Proven experience as a translator or similar role, with a strong portfolio of previous translation work.
• Certification or accreditation in translation is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under tight deadlines.
• Cultural sensitivity and awareness to effectively convey nuances and idiomatic expressions in translations.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively within a team.
