Sr. Data Analyst

Horizontal Talent is on the lookout for a full-time Sr. Data Analyst to create meaningful insights from our client's collective data. This exciting Data Analysis role is based in Edina and offers a compelling salary and benefits package for your dedication.

In this Sr. Data Analyst role, you will develop expertise in all existing data models and enough company and industry knowledge to develop meaningful insights with credibility. You'll work closely with organizational stakeholders at all levels to ascertain what business problems exist, how data and analytics can help tackle those problems, and clearly communicate what the data tells us about those problems.

To give you an idea of how this Sr. Data Analyst role would look and feel, here are some things you could expect to do:

• Develop reporting and analytics tools within Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI)
• Serve as a front-line data consultant to organizational stakeholders
• Assist companies as they migrate to the new reporting platform to meet legacy reporting needs
• Become an expert resource in Oracle data domains, including OTBI Subject Areas, Essbase, and data marts, which exist within the Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW)
• Design dashboards and reporting objects within Power BI
  
  
  

To apply for this Sr. Data Analyst role, your soft skills, expertise, and experience should include:

• A degree in Computer Science, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or equivalent knowledge and work experience
• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, business analytics, or equivalent
• Experience with reporting tools like Oracle's BI Publisher, SSRS, or Crystal Reports
• Experience working with data visualization software such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik would also be beneficial
