Base pay range

$240,000.00/yr - $255,000.00/yr

Reporting to the VP HR, the Senior Director HR will play a key role in supporting the continued growth, success and development of the culture at Jasper.

As the Senior Director HR you have the opportunity to support the business with a wide range of HR related activities and will take ownership of HR Operations, Benefits, Policies, Compliance, Compensation, and HR generalist activities. Working as an integral partner across functions to help continue the delivery of Jasper’s HR program.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Oversee key HR functions, including, HR Operations, benefits administration, compensation, Performance Management & HR Generalist activities
  • Manage benefits programs, ensuring competitive and comprehensive offerings that meet employee needs
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and labor laws across multiple locations
  • Partner with the VP HR on strategic HR programs
  • Act as a trusted advisor to employees and management on HR-related issues
  • Manage conflict resolution and promote a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives
  • Manage and oversee Jasper’s HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and ensure data accuracy
  • Prepare reports and analytics for decision-making purposes
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and the business to help deliver quality onboarding



Qualifications


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) preferred
  • Experience: Minimum of 8-12 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in the biotech or life sciences industry



Skills


  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment law
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business goals
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Proficiency with ADP implementation and management HRIS and other HR software
