We are inviting applications for Sr. Manager, Data Governance,

You will be a leading a Patient Data Governance team and play a key role in understanding, building, maintaining and utilizing patient data assets/products optimally, establishing enterprise-level patient data principles, standards, and guidelines in conjunction with and on behalf of the assigned functional area or data domain business teams. You will serve as one of the key single point of contact for patient data operations, quality, and implementation of data governance. Your responsibilities will include the stewardship of patient data and to act as the subject matter expert working with patient data consumers and stakeholders on how to best manage and leverage patient data assets & Analytic products within the organization. You will also work closely with data product owners and data engineers to support the overall organizational data assets/products throughout their lifecycle.

Required skills :

• 7+ years of experience
• Pharma background
• Programming using Python/ SQL
• Experience with data governance.
• Expertise with data profiling, data cleansing, data matching and/or other related data governance / management tools (like Informatica Data Quality Explorer, Talend Open Studio, Alteryx Designer, Data Cleaner, Dataiku DSS, RapidMiner, IBM Infosphere).

Job Description :

• Demonstrated experience in pharma / life sciences (preferred) or healthcare (at least) in the data areas of real-world, clinical trial, patient or HCP/HCO data, sales & marketing data, financial or product data.
• Knowledge of patient master data concepts and principles (preferred in pharmaceutical manufacturing industry or clinical data management systems)
• Experience with data governance and management best practices, implementing data policies; troubleshooting and resolving data quality issues, and conducting data audits, or managing data access and permissions for data masters, or with data modeling, data security, data privacy, etc.
• Demonstrated experience managing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process and team – analyzing product requirements to define key deliverables, preparing test list and test environment, using user testing tools and trackers, reporting results, and resolving any errors discovered.
• Knowledge of sales and marketing, how businesses develop and implement strategies to improve customer targeting and marketing campaigns.
• Expertise with data profiling, data cleansing, data matching and/or other related data governance / management tools (like Informatica Data Quality Explorer, Talend Open Studio, Alteryx Designer, DataCleaner, Dataiku DSS, RapidMiner, IBM InfoSphere).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to develop and deliver clear and concise documentation with demonstrable experience drafting technical documentation; strong skills drafting SOPs, work instructions, etc.
• Ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders, including data stewards, IT professionals, and business leaders; ability to communicate project progress and results with stakeholders.
• Ability to design and develop complex data governance processes and policies, ability to identify and analyse data governance gaps and opportunities, ability to develop and implement data governance improvement plans.
• Understanding of technical work management concepts such as Agile, Scrum, A/B or multivariate testing, tag management and journey mapping.
• Experience leading a team of business analysts and demonstrate the ability to execute assignments independently; demonstrable ability to plan, execute, monitor data governance projects and to manage resources and deadlines.
• Understanding of the organization’s data landscape and data management systems, the organization's business goals and objectives to identify and assess data governance risks, to develop and implement data governance solutions that meet the needs of the business.
• Hands-on technical skills in SQL, Python, etc. will be preferred

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related fields business administration· Bachelors in Comp. Sci., Information Systems, Pharmacy
• 8-11 years’ overall work experience (mandatory) in technical and service work areas in the healthcare industry (highly preferred)
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in data gov/mgmt. or related field (mandatory)
• Lower years of experience for Master’s degree (MSc. / MTech. / MPharma. / MBA / related) will be considered

Other Requirements :

• Our clients prefer support to be in-office for most of the time – at least 3 days per week (every week)
• The office facilities are in and around the 06810 ZIP code region
• The ideal candidate preferably lives near this region such that they will need not more than 2 hours to travel to this region on a daily basis or as requested by the business stakeholders
