Sr Mechanical Technician

Job Description

• We need technicians who can use a variety of hand tools including calipers and dial indicators to build precision metal assemblies. Using dial indicators on a granite plate while building our assemblies is normal everyday practice.
• Often dealing with ball bearing slides and tight tolerances.
• Able to read and understand both electrical (for electromechanical openings) and pneumatic drawings (for mechanical openings). After the technician builds the mechanical assembly, we need them to be able to do the second stage which usually involves running airlines or cabling.
• If applying for the electromechanical openings, they will need to know the proper pins, connectors and tooling required to complete tasks of manufacturing cables.
• Be able to follow mechanical drawings that the technician will access on our hard drive after receiving the work orders.
• Be dependable and able to work as a team member.
• Positive attitude with a sense of urgency. We are very fast passed on the manufacturing floor.
• Be available for overtime when needed.
