Base pay range

$108,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr

Benefits/Compensation

The salary range is $108k-$150k. In addition, Sciton provides an opportunity to participate in equity/stock incentive programs, a profit-sharing bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package, including 401K with matching.

Job Summary

We seek a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Product Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team in the Aesthetic capital energy-based devices market, notably laser and pulsed light. Our selected candidate will develop strategies and sales enablement tools to meet corporate goals for one or more aesthetic products and manage the product life cycle.

Your strategic mindset and be instrumental in driving the growth and market success of our Sciton product portfolio. We are prioritizing talent in the Bay Area.

In This Role You Will

  • Lead and strategize the development and management of key product lines. Propel both short-term and long-term revenue growth and profitability with your expertise.
  • Serve as the primary interface and foster strong relationships in cross-functional collaboration between Product Marketing and R&D, Sales, Clinical Research, Regulatory, and Operations to ensure alignment and effective product execution.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to uncover deep insights into customer preferences, industry trends, and competitive dynamics. Use these insights to pinpoint market gaps, address customer pain points, and identify opportunities for differentiation. Translate these findings into strategic actions and actionable product roadmap recommendations.
  • Manage the product life cycle. Identify opportunities for enhancements, updates, and retirement to maximize product performance, revenue, and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead the end-to-end process of launching new products with comprehensive go-to-market plans. Collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure seamless execution and successful market entry.
  • Collaborate with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and practitioners to collect usage data, enhance product performance, and broaden application offerings. Organize and execute webinars to highlight expert techniques and knowledge, driving application and product adoption.
  • Support Sales efforts with training, expertise, and key account relationships.
  • Develop impactful and distinct messaging that resonates with our target audience and differentiates our offerings in the market. Create compelling consumer-focused content that addresses their needs, boosts brand awareness, and fosters brand loyalty.
  • Align marketing efforts with the Marketing Communications team, and provide messaging input, copy, images, and other needs.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to write white papers.
  • Approximately 25% of travel is required.

Essential Requirements

  • 3-5 years of product marketing management experience that includes experience with new product launches in energy-based devices.
  • An understanding of the medical device industry, including key players.
  • Proficient with creating presentations, Adobe, Excel, use of project management programs such as Asana, Smartsheet, Atlassian Jira, Confluence, etc.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the capacity to develop compelling messaging.
  • Ability and desire to master scientific and technical content.
  • Can work independently under tight deadlines, using organizational skills to prioritize tasks.
  • Leadership and collaboration skills with an ability to thrive in team environments.
  • A can-do attitude and hunger for high performance with an exceptional work ethic.
  • While a BS or BA in Marketing is a great foundation, we particularly value an MBA. Your advanced education will bring a unique perspective and added value to our team.
