A contract medical device manufacturer in West Michigan is looking for a Sr. Project Engineer to lead a team and manage projects. The majority of this role involves ensuring projects are completed on time and pushing things forward with internal teams, managing suppliers, and creating systems to build infrastructure. Responsibilities include managing projects from concept to completion, quoting projects and providing support during launch activities, working with new and existing customers, handling design/development tasks, managing expectations and launch activities with an engineering firm, and mentoring the engineering/operations team.
Hard Skills
Regulated Environment Experience (Medical Device Preferred but would consider Aerospace/Food/Pharma)
Project Management Experience - Ability to lead complex projects from concept to completion
5+ years of Project Engineering Experience
Bachelor's in Engineering
Microsoft Project Experience
Product Design/Development Experience using Solidworks / Creo

Very clean work environment. The company moved into this building in the last couple of years and has one clean room. The manufacturing space was recently redone to include a machining area.
