Salary: $120,000 - $130,000 base + 15% Bonus

Location: Onsite in Janesville, WI (Relocation is available!)

Requirements: 7+ years of experience within electric power generation + Commercial/Sales Engineering

After years as a a Tier One OEM supplier to the biggest names in portable power generation, we are opening a new division within our company to take this partnership to the next level. The group will focus on complete system integration and manufacturer of fully integrated electrical power generation systems

Working closely with the VP of Engineering you, and our sales team, you will create technical and commercial proposals for our customers balance of plant electrical power generation needs. You will be the face of our company, taking complex electrical and mechanical specifications and developing conceptual solutions that fit customer needs, our capabilities and are cost conscious.

What You Will Be Doing

You will create technical and commercial proposals for our customers balance of plant electrical power generation needs, by:

• Reading and interpreting Electrical Power generation system specifications
• Collaborating closely with customers and internal business partners
• Creating best cost concept solutions
• Creating technical and commercial bid proposals
• Ensuring system level manufacturability
• Be the voice of the customer
• Identifying cost reduction opportunities
• Creating and maintaining manufacturing cost model databases
  
  

What You Need For This Position

7+ years of experience in the electric power generation industry, focused on:

• Cost/Sales Engineering
• Knowledge of electrical power generation systems, with a focus on Balance of Plant
• Cost Modeling
• Basic business knowledge
• Ability to read and interpret Electrical Power system specifications
• MRP systems
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical assembly operations
  
  

Bonus points if you have experience with AutoCAD/Inventor!
