Staff Accountant

Position Overview: The Staff Accountant will utilize accounting principles to assist in the preparation of financial statements at both the business unit and consolidated levels, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. The role also involves supporting acquisition integrations and participating in various ad hoc projects as required.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare journal entries and related supporting documentation for cash transactions.
• Conduct bank reconciliations.
• Process customer payments and accurately apply them to the correct accounts.
• Collaborate with external auditors to provide requested information and explain key controls and substantive transactions within assigned areas.
• Promote continuous improvement in controls and processes within assigned responsibilities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance or Accounting.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced user), Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Knowledge of US GAAP.
• Experience in real estate is a plus.
