Job Description

This position reports to the Finance Department located in Columbia. The incumbent will:

  • Prepare financial analysis on records and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing accounting data and transactions.
  • Prepare financial support records including reconciling details of accounts.
  • Properly record journal entries.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial management reports and annual audits.

Minimum And Additional Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field with at least 1 year of professional experience directly related to the position, such as accounting, auditing or finance. Ability to work with and analyze large quantities of data with attention to detail. Ability to follow procedures for retrieving and summarizing data for processing. Experience reviewing data records to record accounting transactions. Experience with Excel and working with large data files. Focused on task accuracy and completion of tasks by assigned deadline.
