Job Summary/Basic Functions
A staff Interpreter facilitates communication between current students who are deaf/hard of hearing in all academic aspects of the university experience. Including but not limited to, classroom lectures, academic advising, field trips, and internships.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Level I
Minimum Education Required:
High School Diploma or GED is required
Associates Degree is preferred
Equivalency
Education or native like ASL skills may substitute for experience, and experience or native like ASL skills may substitute for education
