Livelong Media Writer /Editorial Assistant Position
LivelongMedia.com seeks an entry-level writer/editorial assistant to join our team. This role involves supporting the editorial process, writing submissions, and assisting with content development.
Key Responsibilities:
Write a twice-weekly newsletter on health and wellness.
Assist in editing and proofreading content for clarity and coherence.
Conduct research and fact-checking.
Understanding of core journalistic principles and writing style.
Work with systems admin, advertising, and marketing managers to fulfill brand goals and initiatives.
Identify and promote partnership and ad-generating opportunities.
Write with the proper tone and voice to maintain core audience engagement and relationship.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, writing or related field.
Strong writing and editing skills.
Proficiency in editing software.
Excellent organizational abilities.
Experience in health journalism (optional but encouraged).
Details
The writer reports to Livelong Editor, Erin Hunter.
90-day contract with opportunity to convert to full-time employment, after reviewing work.
$4,000 a month.
