Description
Trusted by more startups around the world, AWS makes the power of cloud computing accessible for all by giving founders everywhere access to the same technology that powers the world’s largest companies. With nearly 20 years of experience gained from supporting hundreds of thousands of startups that have come before, we help founders prove that their world-changing ideas are possible, at any stage of growth or level of funding. This is why more startups build on AWS than on any other cloud provider.
We're seeking an exceptional marketing professional to lead our event and program scale efforts, facilitating cross-pollination of best practices and scaling high-impact marketing initiatives across regional marketing teams. In this global role, you’ll centralize key components, creating repeatable mechanisms and messaging, enabling all regions to adopt and implement effectively within their local markets. You'll also drive the execution of global-led, field-supported, initiatives and co-partnered events.
A successful Startup Scale Program Manager excels in strategic thinking, stakeholder influence, process establishment, event execution, and is adept at project prioritization in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial marketer deeply immersed in the marketing and tech landscape, possessing an innate understanding of trends and topics that resonate with the tech industry and drives marketing pipeline. They thrive on identifying opportunities, thinking big, taking ownership, and are persistent in the pursuit of program execution, even in complex, ever-evolving, and ambiguous contexts.
This role requires collaboration with cross-functional global teams, a keen understanding of end-to-end program management, and the ability to ideate fresh, new ideas that sparks interest and drives growth. Domestic and international travel are required.
Key job responsibilities
The startup organization at AWS comprises experts from across the global ecosystem, including former founders and CTOs, venture capitalists, angel investors, and mentors who upskill today's founders to navigate challenges and opportunities as they build their business, and our Startup Marketing team is where the magic happens. For marketers who like to invent, there's no better place to build than on the AWS Startup Marketing team.
