Summary

Morgan & Morgan is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Strategic Partnership Consultant to establish and cultivate strategic relationships with other law firms across the country. The primary goal of this position is to secure co-marketing investments from these firms, fostering mutually beneficial partnerships. The successful candidate will possess exceptional communication and negotiation skills, a strong sales acumen, and a proven track record in building strategic alliances.

This is a remote position covering a territory that potentially includes Iowa, Minnesota, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, North Dakota, South Dakota, and possibly Missouri or Nebraska. Please be located in one of these states only.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relationships: Build and nurture relationships with targeted law firms to promote co-marketing opportunities with Morgan & Morgan.
  • Identify potential partners: Identify and research potential law firms for strategic partnerships based on geographic location, practice areas, and market segments.
  • Conduct outreach: Initiate contact and engage in effective communication with potential partner firms to explain the benefits of co-marketing opportunities with Morgan & Morgan.
  • Negotiate partnership agreements: Collaborate with partner firms to determine the terms, objectives, and financial arrangements for co-marketing campaigns.
  • Travel and attend conferences: Represent Morgan & Morgan at industry conferences, seminars, and events to expand network and seek potential partnerships.
  • Organize meetings and dinners: Schedule and coordinate meetings, dinners, and other networking opportunities to establish and strengthen relationships with partner firms.
  • Achieve sales targets: Meet or exceed minimum daily meeting requirements and travel targets set by the company.
  • Track and report on KPIs: Monitor and report on the dollar amounts received for co-marketing campaigns, the number of meetings held, and other relevant KPIs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams: Liaise with marketing, legal, and other internal teams to ensure seamless execution of co-marketing campaigns.
  • Stay updated on industry trends: Stay informed about the legal industry landscape, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for partnerships.

Qualifications

  • Be located in Iowa, Minnesota, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, North Dakota, South Dakota, Missouri or Nebraska.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. Legal background is a plus.
  • Proven experience in strategic partnerships, sales, or business development, preferably in the legal or professional services industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with potential partners and represent the company professionally.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities to secure co-marketing investments from partner firms.
  • Ability to travel frequently and attend conferences, dinners, and networking events.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in meeting sales goals.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills to effectively manage multiple partnerships and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant tools to track and report on performance metrics.
  • Knowledge of the legal industry, including different practice areas and market dynamics, is advantageous.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively.
