What You Will Be Doing
Design and Development: Lead design, specification, and cost estimation for civil and structural projects, including facility and heavy industrial equipment foundation structural design.
Project Management: Provide hands-on project and onsite construction management to ensure project goals are met efficiently.
Technical Expertise: Apply deep understanding of industrial facility construction practices and advanced technical knowledge in structural analysis and design using steel, concrete, and wood.
Leadership and Collaboration: Direct and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, fostering a collaborative environment to achieve project success.
Communication and Customer Interaction: Utilize strong communication skills to engage with stakeholders, present technical information effectively, and ensure client satisfaction.
We Would Love to Hear From You If You Have:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
PE license
Proven experience in heavy industrial facility construction practices
Expertise in structural analysis and design (steel, concrete, wood)
Strong technical writing, oral presentation, and customer interaction skills
Project and construction management experience
Proficiency in AutoCAD
Ability to work in confined spaces and varied environmental conditions (including paper mill settings)
Willingness to travel occasionally for project needs
