Position
Program Overview
Rockefeller Capital Management offers a distinctive Summer Analyst Program experience as a premier independent financial advisory firm. Our diversified businesses, boutique size, and entrepreneurial culture shape a dynamic, personalized experience for our Analysts.
Our Summer Analyst program is a ten-week (June-August) internship program designed to provide an opportunity to experience the culture and atmosphere of Rockefeller Capital Management. Summer Analysts will be fully immersed in the day-to-day activities of the business providing opportunities to learn, grow, and excel.

To be eligible for consideration, students must be projected 2026 graduates and in good standing at the school. Analysts should have an interest in the financial services industry and be eager to learn and make an impact.
Position
Rockefeller Capital Management’s Investment Due Diligence Team is looking for a Summer Analyst to support their business unit next summer. The Summer Analyst will learn about the suite of products offered on our Rockefeller Global Family Office platform, which provides access to best-in-class managers and strategies, including mutual funds, ETFs, separately managed accounts, hedge funds, interval funds, semi-liquid private funds, illiquid private funds, and single asset investments.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Investment Solutions teams in performing due diligence and analysis on a range of investment opportunities on the private and public markets.
- Attend due diligence meetings with external investment managers spanning a broad range of asset classes.
- Assist in the quantitative analysis of investment strategies, including performance attribution, risk analysis, portfolio characteristics analysis.
- Support the qualitative analysis of investment strategies, including the assessment of portfolio management teams, uniqueness and repeatability of an investment approach, and organizational structure of an asset manager.
- Help draft outward facing materials such as fund snapshots and other SharePoint materials highlighting covered investment strategies.
- Work on initiatives to help scale operations such as automation that requires programming skills.
- Research various industries/asset classes/opportunities that may represent potential opportunities.
- High school degree required.
- Pursuing a degree with a concentration in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Business, or Computer Science is desirable.
- Prior internship experience in the financial industry, including wealth management or asset management a plus.
- Basic understanding of investments, portfolio reporting and related terminology
- Highly analytical and proficient in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel; ability to use Excel to organize, analyze, present and report on client information; Word, Access and PowerPoint a plus
- A self-starter, who works well independently and as a part of a team
- Entrepreneurial and proactive mindset
- Ability to multi-task and be able to reassess priorities as situations arise
- Detail-oriented and attentive to accuracy and deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a can-do attitude
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to exercise discretion with confidential matters
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- {Programming experience a plus (e.g. C/C++/Java/Python)
The anticipated hourly rate for this role is $38/hour. Hourly rate for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown.
