We are currently seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join a dynamic team for an exciting waste water treatment plant project in St. Thomas, Ontario.

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Construction Superintendent with a strong background in the construction of waste water treatment plants. The successful candidate will be based out of the Kitchener-Waterloo-Cambridge (KWC) or South Western region but must be willing to travel within Ontario as needed, with travel expenses covered by the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of the construction of the waste water treatment plant project in St. Thomas.
• Ensure that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and onsite personnel.
• Maintain strict adherence to health and safety protocols and regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
• Provide regular updates and reports to senior management.
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met.

The Successful Applicant

• Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent, specifically in waste water treatment plant projects.
• Extensive knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and OSHA safety standards.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in project management software.
• Willingness to travel within Ontario, with primary focus on the current project in St. Thomas.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
