Supply Chain Director

Our client are the holding company of multiple globally renown outdoor brands and are looking for a Director Supply Chain to oversee the optimization and high performance of their distribution network and the management of supply chain systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize the flow of goods from suppliers to customers, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with business goals
• Oversee inventory levels across all locations, ensuring proper stock levels, minimizing excess inventory, and reducing stockouts, while balancing supply and demand
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier performance to ensure timely delivery, quality standards, and cost control
• Manage the logistics and distribution processes, including warehousing, transportation, and delivery, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of orders
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and sustainability goals while continuously improving processes.

Qualifications:

• 12+ years of supply chain management, logistics and transportation operations experience
• 7+ years in a leadership capacity leading cross functional teams with a proven track record of supply chain leadership and achievement
• 5+ years experience in a retail or wholesale environment with gathering, analyzing and manipulating business process data within a supply chain, logistics and supplier performance framework
• Familiarity with supply chain management software (e.g., ERP systems, WMS, TMS) and other relevant technologies
• Expert level experience in collaborating with internal stakeholders and negotiating with suppliers to drive results through effective S&OP practices
