The Supply Chain intern will support the Strategy team in day-to-day operations and strategic projects. This role is designed to provide the candidate with a comprehensive understanding of the supply chain processes, from procurement to distribution.
THIS IS A PART TIME IN-PERSON INTERNSHIP. HOURS ARE FROM 9:00AM-4:30PM M-TH BUT CAN BE FLEXIBLE AS NEEDED**
Duties/Responsibilities
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Assist in collecting and analyzing supply chain data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Prepare reports on inventory levels, supply chain performance, and other key metrics.
Inventory Management
Monitor inventory levels and assist in maintaining optimal levels.
Support inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
Procurement Support
Assist in the procurement process, including supplier communication, purchase order creation, and tracking deliveries.
Evaluate supplier performance and assist in maintaining supplier relationships.
Logistics Coordination
Coordinate with logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
Track shipments and resolve any issues that arise during transportation.
Process Improvement
Identify opportunities for process improvements within the supply chain and recommend solutions.
Support the implementation of new supply chain initiatives and technologies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with other departments such as production, sales, and finance to ensure alignment and smooth operations.
Participate in cross-functional meetings and contribute to project discussions.
Administrative Support
Provide administrative support to the Strategy team, including document preparation, filing, and maintaining records.
Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for management.

Education And Experience
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
