Position Overview: The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for developing and executing supply chain strategies that align with company objectives. This role involves optimizing the entire supply chain process, managing inventory levels, coordinating with the sales team and customers, and overseeing vendor billing and payment processing. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless operations, effective communication, and continuous process improvement.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Supply Chain Management:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor supply chain strategies that align with company goals.
  • Optimize the end-to-end supply chain process to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with supplier and logistics partners to streamline operations and resolve any disruptions.


2. Inventory Management:

  • Oversee inventory levels to maintain an optimal balance between supply and demand.
  • Implement inventory control systems to track stock levels, orders, and deliveries.


3. Coordination with Sales Team and Customers:

  • Work closely with the sales team to forecast demand and align supply chain operations accordingly.
  • Ensure seamless communication between the supply chain, sales team, and customers to meet delivery expectations.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns related to orders, delivery schedules, and product availability.


4. Vendor Bill Approval and Payment Processing:

  • Review and approve vendor bills, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contract terms.
  • Manage the timely processing of payments to vendors, maintaining strong relationships and trust.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to resolve any billing discrepancies or payment issues.


5. Issuance of Invoices, Purchase Orders, and Sales Orders:

  • Ensure accurate and timely issuance of invoices, purchase orders (POs), and sales orders (SOs).
  • Ensure all documentation is in compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Maintain records of all transactions and provide regular reports to management.


6. Customer-Related Services:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that customer needs are met effectively.


7. Additional Responsibilities:

  • Continuously evaluate and improve processes to enhance efficiency and service quality.
  • Take on any other tasks related to customer services or supply chain management as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in supply chain management, inventory management, and vendor relations.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks.
  • Proficiency in inventory control systems and supply chain management software.
