Job Details

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage key supply chain strategies to ensure the efficient and cost-effective delivery of goods.
• Lead and manage procurement activities, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management.
• Utilize ASICS methodologies to streamline processes, reduce waste, and improve operational efficiency.
• Implement Six Sigma methodologies to enhance quality control and minimize defects.
• Conduct accurate forecasting to predict demand and ensure optimal inventory levels.
• Oversee production planning, ensuring that production schedules align with demand and inventory targets.
• Manage inventory, ensuring appropriate levels are maintained to meet production needs while minimizing carrying costs.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, production, and finance, to ensure alignment of supply chain strategies and objectives.
• Monitor and report on supply chain performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a supply chain management role within the manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in ASICS methodologies, with a proven track record of successfully implementing these strategies to improve operational efficiency.
• Six Sigma certification or equivalent experience, with a strong understanding of quality control processes and methodologies.
• Extensive experience in procurement, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management.
• Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and best practices, including forecasting, production planning, and inventory management.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex supply chain concepts to a variety of audiences.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve supply chain issues in a timely and effective manner.
