Supply Chain Manager

LHH is seeking an experienced and dynamic Supply Chain Manager for Global Manufacturing client based just east of Evansville, IN, with relocation assistance available for the right candidate. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in the manufacturing industry and at least 5 years of experience in a supply chain management role. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain processes, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and supplier relationships. . The salary range of 85-115k plus bonus, 401k matching and generous PTO/health benefit package.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies to support production and operational goals.
• Oversee the procurement of materials, components, and services required for manufacturing, ensuring timely delivery and cost efficiency.
• Manage relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with quality and delivery standards.
• Lead the planning and execution of inventory management processes to optimize stock levels and minimize waste.
• Coordinate logistics and transportation activities to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery of materials and finished goods.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and finance, to align supply chain activities with overall business objectives.
• Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies related to supply chain management.
• Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 7-10 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a supply chain management role.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and supplier relations.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful supply chain strategies in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
• Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions to optimize supply chain performance.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to relocate to the Evansville, IN area (relocation assistance is available).
