Fingerpaint Market Access (FPMA) is seeking an experienced and strategic market access executive to lead the development and execution of innovative market access (MA) marketing and patient support services (PSS) initiatives for its pharmaceutical and biotech clients.

Objectives Of This Role

This role offers the opportunity to shape MA marketing strategies for leading pharmaceutical and healthcare brands, working with a dynamic team in a fast-paced agency environment. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset, deep industry knowledge, and a passion for delivering impactful marketing solutions in the complex MA landscape.

Relationship building, alliance management, and the promotion of company offerings through demonstrated subject-matter expertise to key personnel within target companies are at the core of this role. In conjunction with the identification and winning of new business, the client lead will be responsible for developing and delivering work product against contracted project requirements for new projects the client lead closes.

Additional responsibilities of the client lead include working with executive leadership to optimize strategic promotion of company offerings and leading and mentoring junior staff on the analysis and deliverable creation in projects under management. It is expected that this position will require minimal supervision or support in the closing of new business. Accurate forecasting of project requirements and the ability to develop a project execution plan and supporting statement of work to deliver on project requirements within budget are also necessary skills.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Identify, sell, close, and manage a $3M-$4M portfolio of business each year
  • Develop and execute comprehensive market access marketing strategies for clients, focusing on all MA ecosystem stakeholders (e.g., payers, hospitals, integrated delivery networks (IDNs), office practice managers, HUBs, specialty pharmacies)
  • Collaborate with clients to develop annual market access brand plans, including strategic initiatives and supporting tactics
  • Oversee and participate in the medical, legal, regulatory (MLR) submission (e.g., Veeva) and review process for all collateral material as necessary
  • Manage client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor
  • Bring a big-picture vision with attention to detail

Requirements And Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in either a pharmaceutical company or MA agency, with a preference for direct experience supporting new product launches
  • Deep understanding of the US healthcare system, payer landscape, and market access dynamics
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication, writing, and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel occasionally for client and internal interactions
  • Must enjoy working in demanding environment as a key member of a dynamic, team-based organization
  • Advanced degree in business or health policy is preferred
