SVP, HEAD OF SOFTWARE ENGINEERING

We are seeking a visionary and experienced Head of Software Engineering to lead our organization's application development efforts. In this role, you will be responsible for the entire software development lifecycle, from planning and strategy to development, deployment, and maintenance. You will be a key member of the leadership team, working closely with stakeholders across the organization to ensure that our applications are aligned with business goals and deliver maximum value. This position offers a salary range of $200,000 to $350,000.00 plus annual bonus. Responsibilities Provide strategic direction for the application development function, including developing and implementing a long-term technology roadmap. Lead and manage a team of software developers and technical software engineers. Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. Ensure that applications are developed using best practices, industry standards, and agile methodologies. Establish and maintain a high-performance culture within the development team. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Manage the application development budget and resources effectively. Partner with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements. Stay up-to-date on the latest software development trends and technologies. Identify and implement new technologies that can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our applications. Develop and maintain a robust application security program. Manage and mitigate risks associated with application development projects. Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for application development. Qualifications 15+ years of experience in software development leadership. Proven track record of successfully leading and managing high-performing software development teams. Strong understanding of the entire software development lifecycle. Experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban). Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills. Ability to think strategically and translate business goals into technical solutions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
