As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled Systems Administrator with a strong focus on email management to join our dynamic IT team and support our technology infrastructure.

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure and services on the Microsoft Azure platform. This role will also help manage the corporate SQL environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud computing technologies, services, and architecture, with a focus on Azure solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of cloud applications, endpoint management and provide technical guidance and support. Requirements include a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Azure cloud services, and proficiency in scripting languages. Certifications in Azure are preferred, but not required. Responsibilities:
  • Exchange Online Administration: Manage and maintain Microsoft Exchange Online environments, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability.
  • Email Security and Compliance: Implement and monitor security measures to protect email data and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including managing spam filters, encryption, and data loss prevention.
  • User Management: Handle email account creation, management, and troubleshooting within the M365 environment. Ensure proper licensing and access controls.
  • Migration and Upgrades: Plan and execute migrations to Exchange Online from on-premises or other email systems. Manage email system upgrades and updates.
  • Technical Support: Provide Tier 2/3 support for email-related issues, working closely with the IT support team to resolve technical problems efficiently.
  • Managing identity, security, access, policies, updates, and apps for endpoints.
  • Implementing solutions for efficient deployment and management of endpoints on various operating systems, platforms, and device types.
  • Implementing and managing endpoints at scale by using Microsoft Intune, Windows 365, Windows Autopilot, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, and Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Monitoring and Optimization: Continuously monitor the health and performance of M365 services and SQL environments. Identify and implement improvements to enhance system efficiency and user experience.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other IT team members and departments to support and integrate M365 solutions with other enterprise systems and initiatives.
  • Project Management: Lead or participate in IT projects related to the deployment, upgrade, or enhancement of M365 services.
  • Training and Documentation: Develop and deliver training materials for end-users and IT staff. Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience administering Microsoft 365 Exchange Online.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for Exchange Online management.
  • Experience with hybrid Exchange environments and migration to Office 365 is a plus.
  • Relevant certificationspreferred but not required:
    • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
    • Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate
    • Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate
    • Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert
Additional Skills:
  • Strong understanding of email security protocols and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Familiarity with networking concepts, DNS, and Active Directory integration with M365.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
