Job Title: Technical Architect

Location: REMOTE with 25% Travel (PAID), There won’t be consistent travel, only as needed for site moves/new site implementation. I would convey at least 25% travel to the candidates.

Employment Type: Long Term Contract

Experience: 7+ years minimum

Minimum technologies required: ESXI, DHCP, Hyper-care, Cradlepoint, Velocloud, Aruba Central, Experience with Medical PIMS platforms

Project Leadership:

  • Proven experience leading complex technical projects.
  • Ability to manage on-site technicians remotely.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.


Key Technical Skills:

  • Virtualization: Expertise in virtualized server host management.
  • Preferred: ESXi
  • Network Administration: Proficiency in configuring and managing routers, switches, access points, and VLAN segmentation.
  • Preferred: Cradlepoint, Velocloud, Aruba Central
  • Serve;r Configuration: Skills in setting up and configuring virtualized servers, remote desktop services, centralized DHCP, and AD management.
  • Bonus: Experience with Medical PIMS platforms
  • System Setup: Experience with Remote Desktop Hosts and Thin Client workstation architecture.
  • Data Backup and Recovery: Competence in server backup and recovery processes.
  • Hardware Management: Preferred experience with specialized hardware like X-ray, Dental, and other clinical modalities or ability to quickly adapt to unique hardware challenges and coordinate with hardware vendors.


Documentation and Post-Implementation Testing:

  • Inventory and preparation of network equipment for cutovers.
  • Setup and validation of DHCP scopes and internet access firewalls.
  • Configuration and testing of network components (routers, switches, APs).
  • Execution of ISP connection migrations and equipment verifications.
  • Reconfiguration and testing of workstations, servers, and peripherals.
  • Functional and validation testing of all reconfigured devices.


Support and Troubleshooting:

  • Tier 2/3 level help desk experience for HyperCare.
  • Technical troubleshooting and remote support using tools like Kaseya.


General Requirements:

  • Flexible working hours, including weekends.
  • Preferred: Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., VMware, Cisco, Aruba).
  • Excellent communication skills.


****Networking experience is key- strong network architect that is able to design a network from scratch, troubleshoot problems, and develop solutions.
