An exciting opportunity for a Technical Editor exists in our Data Electronics Team for a self-starter who is inquisitive and enjoys editing technical documents. As such, they ensure work product adheres to department and company standards. This job requires overtime on occasion to meet business requirements. The Technical Editor reports directly to Electronic Documents Manager.

An exciting opportunity for a Technical Editor exists in our Data Electronics Team for a self-starter who is inquisitive and enjoys editing technical documents. As such, they ensure work product adheres to department and company standards. This job requires overtime on occasion to meet business requirements. The Technical Editor reports directly to Electronic Documents Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Processing changes provided by clients to large technical documents with a high degree of quality and accuracy,
- Incorporate editorial revisions, drawings, and tables as directed by the client.
- Creating Portable Document Format (PDF) files
- Maintaining record copies in accordance with departmental guidelines, procedures, and processes
- Update and maintain multiple online databases
- Able to work OT when necessary
- Other duties as assigned
- HS Degree/GED is required, associate’s or 60+ hours of college coursework is a plus.
- 0-3 years of experience handling data with precision and accuracy
- U.S. Citizenship and Background Check
- Good working knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat Professional X (and above) is a plus
- Able to clearly communicate verbally and in writing in Business Standard English
- Able to work independently with some oversight or with a team
- Ability to Abide by all Company Policies and Procedures

- Monday – Friday work schedule. Office Hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Start time flexibility and choice of 30 or 60-minute lunch breaks.
