Job Description

This opportunity is part of the DevOps COE in CPP Delivery office, where our mission is to help our product engineering teams deliver faster with improved quality and reliability. We work cross functional with our global product teams and market teams in defining and completing our automation test strategy, improving our build and deploy pipelines to standard tools and templates and Find opportunities to proactively maintain our product SLAs. As a Technical Program Manager you will directly manage all the initiatives and responsible for all forms of reporting and communication within the DevOps pillar of the Center of Expertise.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Partner with Senior Program Manager, Senior Managers, Engineers and facilitating multiple stakeholder groups to identify priorities, define projects and associated landmarks to deliver against these priorities.
  • Maintain and monitor list of key program-level dependencies across application groups and proactively track through to completion.
  • Manage DevOps initiatives and projects by helping with prioritization and organization of associated tasks
  • Help build a knowledge hub for standard processes and recommendations of DevSecOps practices
  • Assist with facilitating scum meetings and technical demos
  • Define and measure critical metrics for success

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in Technology or related
  • Willingness and ability to live the McDonald's values every day: Serve, Inclusion, Integrity, Community, and Family.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to optimally communicate sophisticated concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to solicit and communicate business expectations and build strong client and stakeholder relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage technical initiatives from an unclear problem statement, driving transparency, understanding, and discussing technical concepts, managing tradeoffs, and evaluating potential concepts with internal and external partners.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Proficient in Project Management /Tracking with tools like JIRA, MS Project
