Technical Recruiter

Position Overview:
The Technical Recruiter will play a critical role in identifying, attracting, and recruiting top talent. This hybrid role requires a professional with a strong local network in Miami's tech community, excellent headhunting skills, and experience managing the full recruitment life cycle. The ideal candidate is a proactive and strategic thinker with experience in conducting executive searches and filling high-level positions within the tech/telecom industry. We are passionate about building high-performing teams and are looking for someone who can help us attract top talent across all levels, from senior managers to executive leadership levels. We are searching for a professional with deep knowledge of the Miami tech scene and a proven track record of headhunting and sourcing exceptional candidates for leadership roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full-Cycle Recruiting: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for technical roles, including executive-level searches, from sourcing to onboarding.
- Headhunting: Utilize your established network and sourcing expertise to proactively identify and engage top talent in the Miami area, with a focus on leadership and high-level profiles.
- Executive Search Expertise: Lead recruitment efforts for senior technical positions, ensuring a strong pipeline of qualified candidates.
- Candidate Sourcing: Leverage multiple channels, including social media, job boards, referrals, and networking events, to source and attract top technical talent.
- Screening & Interviews: Conduct in-depth candidate interviews, evaluate technical skills, and assess cultural fit for the organization.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers to ensure a smooth recruitment process.
- Networking: Actively engage with the local Miami tech community to stay current on industry trends and participate in networking events to build a pipeline of top-tier candidates.
- Collaboration: Partner with the Recruitment Manager to understand the hiring needs and develop targeted recruiting strategies.
- Data & Reporting: Maintain and update candidate databases and provide regular reports on recruitment activities and hiring progress.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in technical recruiting, with a strong focus on executive-level and leadership roles in the tech and/or telecom industry.
- Local Network: Extensive knowledge of the Miami tech landscape, with a robust network of industry leaders and senior technical professionals.
- Executive Search: Proven experience conducting executive searches and successfully placing candidates in C-level or other senior roles.
- Headhunting Skills: Strong headhunting capabilities, with the ability to engage passive candidates and fill hard-to-fill technical roles.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
- Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), as well as other recruiting tools and platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, etc.).
- Hybrid Work: Comfortable working in a hybrid environment, with the ability to work both remotely and in-office (3 days in office, 2 days remote).
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple searches and deadlines simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or engineering.
- Previous experience in a high-growth, fast-paced startup environment.
- Telecom Industry knowledge
