We are seeking a fully remote skilled Technical Writer to join our mature and high-performing product/engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating clear and concise documentation for our products, including user manuals, API documentation, and operation manuals. This role requires a strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to communicate them effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain user manuals, operation manuals, and API documentation for products.
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather and analyze information for documentation.
Create white papers and specifications to support product features and functionality.
Ensure all documentation meets company standards and is consistent in style and format.
Review and edit documentation created by others to ensure clarity and accuracy.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Technical Writer or similar role.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
Excellent written communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
Experience with creating user manuals, API documentation, and technical specifications.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Though fully remote, the team works in west coast business hours.
