The scope of our services range from providing programmatic third-party compliance solutions through TDI Compliance to investigating complex cases of corporate fraud and attacks by competitors or adversary groups. Regardless of industry or jurisdiction, every engagement begins with a one-to-one understanding of our clients’ internal goals, challenges, and desired outcomes.

The Training Manager’s role is to plan, coordinate, and deliver training and staff learning and development (L&D) programs for the DD&I and Advisory teams. The Training Manager is expected to comprehend complex issues, regions, and industries while supporting detailed investigative research and analysis to identify and understand regulatory risks. The Training Manager is responsible for designing, organizing, managing, and conducting onsite training and mentoring to meet our high standard for quality. This position is based full-time onsite in our Washington, DC office.

  • Present training materials and information using a variety of instructional techniques, such as discussions, role-playing, simulations, team exercises, games, lectures, computer-based, or through other creative avenues. Conduct all operations onboarding training sessions onsite, assign exercises for all sessions, and give comprehensive, timely, and individual feedback on all exercises.
  • Enhance the onboarding experience by being present in the office, providing additional resources, answering questions, offering immediate training support, and complementing the efforts of managers to ensure a comprehensive and seamless onboarding process for new employees.
  • As a member of the TDI team, contribute to fostering the company's culture and professionalism for all new hires. The training manager's physical presence in the office is essential to directly interact with new employees, provide hands-on guidance and support, demonstrate commitment, facilitate face-to-face communication and collaboration, and effectively monitor and assess the progress of new hires.
  • Continuously improve and update training programs based on feedback, industry trends, and evolving client needs to ensure the content remains relevant and effective.
  • Organize and develop training manuals, reference library, testing and evaluation procedures, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials for each training session.
  • Design, plan, and organize training programs, policies, and training schedules for employees on programmatic, human-sourced, and custom projects in accordance with our internal quality standards – starting with a comprehensive 3-4 week onboarding training program (currently 50% complete) before moving on to ongoing training.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys, and employee performance metrics, and use this data to make data-driven decisions for program improvements.
  • Align training initiatives with the organization's overall strategic objectives and ensure that training programs support achieving business goals, to include client-specific expectations and our internal quality standards.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts within the organization to develop and deliver specialized training content.
  • Ensure employees receive ongoing, regular training to develop their skills and stay up to date with best practices by developing, organizing, and leading sessions.
  • Mentor team members in conducting research, performing analysis, and writing due diligence and compliance reports for final delivery to clients.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the organization by promoting knowledge sharing and peer-to-peer learning and encouraging employees to take ownership of their professional development.
  • Communicate with and support management in achieving training and development objectives and goals; serve as a key point of coordination and collaboration with managers from DD&I and Advisory.
  • Be proficient in using various learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools to create and deliver online training content when necessary.
  • Adapt training content and delivery methods to accommodate different learning styles and ensure accessibility for all participants.
  • Research and remain current on external L&D opportunities for staff and industry best practices to update internal training programs and meet company retention goals.
  • Maintain training records.
  • Other responsibilities, as assigned.
  • 7-10 years of relevant OSINT analysis experience, with at least one of the below
    • At least 4 years of experience advising clients on regulatory or reputation risk issues and/or conducting and writing compliance or due diligence reports
    • At least 4 years of experience conducting investigative litigation support, commercial fraud investigations, multi-jurisdictional investigations for commercial clients and/or professional services firms (investigative, legal, accounting, or PR)
    • At least 4 years of experience conducting intelligence analysis for a government agency or contractor AND 1-2 years of experience working for a firm that serves private sector clients
    • At least 2 years of experience training or mentoring staff on intelligence analysis, investigations, or due diligence
    • At least 2 years of reviewing and providing quality control for intelligence, investigative, or due diligence reports
