The U.S. is our largest region and we are looking to help our students with immigration and visa support. We are looking for an experienced U.S. immigration professional to help us provide this support for our students.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop an expert-level understanding of our student client base.
  • Develop case strategies, including researching, drafting, reviewing, counseling clients and triaging initiations.
  • Assess eligibility of foreign nationals for non-immigrant and immigrant visa status.
  • Work to prepare petitions and applications for submission to government agencies for non-immigrant and immigrant foreign nationals.
  • Draft and prepare letters and legal documents.
  • Conduct research to support client requests and projects.
  • Partner with colleagues to resolve client issues, share information, and support client projects.
  • Help to seek out opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and standardization with processes, products, or services.
  • Other duties as required.

This a fully remote role, with work times flexible as determined by workload. You are preferably based in the U.S.

Responsibilities include:

  • Advise on U.S. immigration related matters for students and other clients, especially related to the EB-1, O-1, and E-2 visas
  • Assist with preparation of application materials for U.S. visas
  • Participate in design and improvement of Crimson’s U.S. immigration knowledge base and service flows

What qualifications and experience are required?

  • U.S. JD or LLM required
  • Member of a US State bar or Washington DC bar association
  • Member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (preferred)
  • Experience working for a large U.S. immigration law firm
  • Experience completing and submitting EB-1, O-1, and E-2 visa applications
