Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced UI/UX Engineer to join our team in the Consumer Products Industry. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to work on innovative projects that will shape the future of our industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in React and Material UI with backend experience using Flask and Python, and a passion for creating intuitive, user-friendly interfaces. The UI/UX Engineer will work closely with our product and engineering teams to design and implement interfaces that enhance user experience and drive customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.
• Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks.
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
• Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering.
• Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to enhance and polish the user experience.
• Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
• Maintain and enhance our suite of web applications, ensuring strong optimization and functionality.
• Develop and test software, incorporating innovative features, and ensuring that the design and functionality meet our high standards of quality.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a UI/UX Engineer or similar role.
• Expert in React and Material UI
• Experience with Flask, Python and Linux is a must.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
• Demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio.
• Advanced knowledge of all stages of the design process (wireframes, mockups, and prototyping).
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
• Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
• Experience working in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
