Underwriter - Remote Opportunity

Location: 100% Remote

Contract: 4-month contract with potential for extension

Pay: $25-$28/hour W2

Role Overview:

We are seeking an Underwriter to assess risks for Medicare Supplement and other supplemental products. In this role, you will evaluate medical histories, interact with agents and applicants, and ensure timely application reviews. Your analytical skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office will be crucial to your success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess medical history using underwriting criteria.
• Review enrollment applications and third-party data.
• Communicate underwriting decisions clearly.
• Collaborate with the new business team.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma required; insurance-related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical conditions and prescriptions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
