The URBN Communications Coordinator will support the execution of internal and external communications, as well as manage our ecosystem of communication tools, with the goal of keeping our community informed and inspired.

Role Responsibilities
Internal Communications:
- Own weekly campus newsletter - work with cross-functional partners to populate content, write/review copy, edit for design, create draft for review by Communications Manager
- In tandem w/ Community Engagement Coordinator, own the Monthly Campus Perks communication
- Manage URBN Community inbox and URBN Community slack DMs - respond to questions in a timely manner and flag concerns to Manager
- Maintain a pulse on Slack conversations and direct employees to proper channels in a timely manner. Reinforce all of the resources that are available to our employees
- Work with Community Engagement Coordinator to create a communications plan to promote and encourage sign-ups for various campus and URBN Shared Services programs
- Manage Typeform account and create surveys as needed for team and internal partners to gather feedback from our community
- Own email sends for all internal communications, including Photoshop and Salesforce Marketing Cloud operations
- Regularly audit and maintain intranet content to ensure it is current, relevant, and accurate
- Own the intranet community calendar and make it a must-view page for all community happenings
- Make ad hoc edits as requested (who to contact page, TA postings, department edits)
- Propose new ideas to enhance intranet experience
- Update policies and documents as requested/required
- Work with brand partners on quarterly internal and external communication assets, e.g. earnings imagery, Employee Appreciation dates, etc.
Qualifications
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Enthusiastic and proactive attitude – sense of urgency
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite is a plus!
- Basic understanding of HTML and experience with email marketing systems
- Proficiency with content management systems (CMS) and intranet platforms
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
