Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC seeks to fill the position of Vice President in New York, NY.
Identify and propose solutions to risk issues and new business initiatives by working across various partners within the organization. Contribute to strategy to implement short and long initiatives along a structured plan. Identify and propose solutions to risk issues and new business initiatives by working across various partners within the organization. Translate strategy into actionable plan with defined ownership and roles/responsibilities and ensure delivery of activities. Create a governance structure for managing complex activities that involve multiple businesses, technology, marketing, communications, training and control partners. Provide transparency and reporting to stakeholders and senior management.
Salary: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $175000 and $180000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
Requirements
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field plus five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years of experience as a Director, Associate, or a related occupation. Requires five (5) years of experience with: Risk management; Program management and delivery, change management, and readiness management; partnering with and coordinating across various business and functional stakeholders; influencing cross-functional teams; interacting with multi-level organizations; creating PowerPoint presentations for various levels of management; coordinating multiple project activities; overseeing major organizational change programs including: merger integrations, and corporate restructure; creating and managing major organizational change program roadmaps; creating and delivering presentations to communicate vision, roadmap, work breakdown structure, as well as risks, actions, issues, and dependencies; Visio; collaborating with cross functional teams; Microsoft Office Programs including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and SharePoint; JIRA; Tableau; and SQL Server.
