Prefer a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing or a related field.
Minimum five (5) years related experience.
Knowledge of trucking, terminal, and warehouse operations
Prior experience in an account management or business development role in logistics, transportation, distribution, or other supply chain industry
Direct experience working for a trucking company, terminal operator, container line terminals and warehouses preferred.
Experience with profit and loss principles.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
The Vice President may have multiple responsibilities that include Marketing and Customer Relations, Contract negotiations and Administration, New Business Development, Port and Government Relations, Lease Negotiations, Labor Relations, New or Special Projects and Representation on Industry Boards and Committees.
Essential Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain relationships with individuals and decision makers with customers, potential customers, port authorities, labor unions and associations and related organizations.
Market and promote Crescent Warehouse facility and services for potential new business.
Administer daily customer rate quotes with follow up contact/communication.
Negotiate service contracts with customers and administer those contracts through revisions and renewals.
Regularly communicate with customers to ensure all obligations and expectations are being met on both sides.
Analyze and understand operational components and their cost, approve billing, expenditures and review monthly Profit / Loss statements.
Assist with negotiating with Port Authority on new facility leases, revisions, and renewals.
Represent Cresent Warehouse during union contract negotiations, labor relations, manpower requirements, training, arbitrations, member health and welfare plans, retirement trusts and other labor administrative bodies.
Represent Cresent Warehouse individually through industry groups to all levels of government and related industry groups.
Lead or participate in new project development for facilities, equipment or methods or operation.
Maintain a positive working environment by adhering to All company and regulatory policies.
Oversee daily communications with office staff and operations.
Oversee Union employees and perform within the Union contract guidelines.
Ability to motivate employees, labor, and customers.
Able to work a flexible with working schedule…day/night/weekends…etc.
Perform Company staff performance reviews.
