Vice President, Controller

We're doing search work on behalf of the CFO at an Annuities carrier in the Houston area who’s looking to add a Vice President, Controller to the team. Scope of the role is around preparing the consolidated financial statements. It reports to the CAO, has a team size of between 20-30 and the emphasis in terms of the skill set/experience that’s needed is around: Annuities, Reinsurance, and some Investments. Big 4 background would be good. Compensation is open but will reflect the market for a current Senior Manager from public or someone with a public/private background who is currently at the VP level.

Good time to come in and be part of this visible management team that’s scaling up the finance organization to support what’s been hyper growth with this carrier’s Annuities and PRT businesses. Close working relationship with the CFO and CEO. The carrier is tracking towards a $250BB balance sheet and is backed by a large asset manager.
