VP Consumer Marketing & Growth (B2C)


Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic VP of Marketing and Growth to lead their global marketing strategy and drive significant growth globally and across their top markets.


This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of B2C markets and the ability to transition to B2B enterprise needs.


The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong analytical skills and a proven track record in marketing, customer acquisition, branding, and growth.
  • The ability to manage global teams and work across various marketing channels including branding, performance, lifecycle management, influencer and social campaigns, community, PR and events.


Qualifications:

  • 8-10+ years of marketing and customer acquisition, growth-centric experience
  • Strong analytical skills with experience working with multiple data sets and aligning goals, working closely with data and product teams to deliver impact sizing for proposed initiatives and product specific needs
  • Expertise in global to local GTM strategy in launching new features and products, expanding into new (or test) markets, full market rollout
  • Proven experience managing global teams across multiple regions and time zones
  • Experience working across multiple marketing levers including branding, performance, CRM, influencers, social media, and community engagement, measuring goals and pacing, and ability to be agile to pivot strategy and execution when needed
  • Ability to collaborate closely with product, engineering, sales, and creative teams.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment driving growth and achieving high targets and providing consistent reporting of results and key takeaways
  • Passion for delivering impact around the world.
  • In-depth understanding of B2C business and market, with readiness to address B2B enterprise needs working closely with the B2B Marketing Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for global B2C P&L- Performance marketing, Influencers, Brand
  • Collaborate Globally: Work closely with teams across the globe to drive both short-term and long-term initiatives and go-to-market (GTM) plans to expand top markets and drive significant growth.
  • Setting Goals & Optimize Spend: Strategically drive budget planning against key OKRs, and optimize marketing spend to achieve maximum impact and ROI.
  • Risk and Impact Analysis: Take calculated risks while providing thorough impact analysis for proposed initiatives and measuring success.
  • Campaign Management: Launch and sustain market-relevant campaigns, helping to define and execute a full rebrand plan and strategy globally and in top markets.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide consistent reporting, trends, and key takeaways on initiatives to follow an effective cadence of results and cohesive campaign plans.
  • PR and Communication Strategy: Help drive PR and communication strategy, including alignment on events and coverage.
  • Team Empowerment: Empower and develop the marketing team, reviewing the team structure and making necessary changes to enhance performance and growth.
  • Thought Leadership: Represent the company at top-tier thought leadership events, discovering opportunities to drive word of mouth and awareness of the company's key benefits and messaging.
