About the Role: We are recruiting on behalf of top-tier freight forwarding companies seeking an experienced Vice President of Business Development (Air & Ocean) for the North East region, specifically New York. The role involves leading business growth initiatives and expanding market presence.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic business development plans for air and ocean freight services.
Market Penetration: Identify and secure new business opportunities to expand market share.
Client Relationships: Foster and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Sales Leadership: Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective leadership and strategic initiatives.
Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of business development professionals.
Negotiation and Contracts: Oversee high-level negotiations and manage key contracts.

Qualifications:
