Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide operational leadership for food service venues at Orlando Health System located in Orlando, FL
- Manage a team of direct reports, providing the leadership, direction and communication necessary to achieve operational excellence
- Effectively maintain positive client interaction, continually striving to enhance the professional client relationship
- Ensure the AVI team provides exceptional, world-class service to all who visit the dining locations, including clients, hospital staff, patients, visitors, vendors, and fellow team members
- Optimize operational execution with a “hands-on” presence in AVI’s locations
- Meet or exceed operational targets, brand targets, and service targets daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually
- Provide thought leadership and innovation in the refinement of systems and standards
- Assist Managers in the timely resolution of all issues
- Hire, develop and evaluate a motivated and capable team
- Ensure consistency in AVI’s products and in the experience of AVI’s guests
- A minimum of 5 years of successful multi-outlet management experience within the contract food service industry, inclusive of large-volume acute-care hospital environment experience
- A strong systems orientation and the ability to implement clear standards in a changing environment, while emphasizing the highest level of quality/service
- A high level of understanding of front-of-house operations and customer engagement
- Demonstrated service orientation and solid general business knowledge
- A track record of achieving excellent results within a highly competitive business
- The desire to maintain an active presence in the outlets, taking a “hands-on” approach to leading the operations
- Proven experience in building, developing, and motivating a team, serving as a role model and promoting a teamwork culture within the organization. A “winning attitude” that inspires and motivates team members to strive for operational excellence
- A shared vision of the company’s culture, and the determination to promote and maintain the same level of energy and commitment throughout the food operations
- An entrepreneurial spirit, thriving on creative approaches in an exciting, ever-changing environment
- Personal characteristics that include: organization, self-motivation, dedication, loyalty, strong business ethics, superior communication and interpersonal skills, and a passion for achieving goals
- A Bachelors degree in business, management, or related field is preferred, but not required
