Are you a seasoned sales professional with a knack for driving revenue growth, establishing strong client relationships, and leading high-performing sales teams? If so, we invite you to apply for our Vice President of Sales position. As a key member of our executive leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative sales strategies that align with our company's vision and goals. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and strategic leader with a proven track record who thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan that expands the company's customer base and ensures its strong presence in the finance industry.
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories.
  • Implement national sales programs by developing field sales action plans.
  • Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
  • Manage a sales team to meet and exceed targets, including hiring, training, performance monitoring, and feedback.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to understand and capitalize on trends, and create effective, targeted strategies.
  • Report on sales results and data to the senior management team, and adjust strategies as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior sales leadership role, preferably in the finance industry.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Demonstrable experience in developing and executing successful commercial strategies.
  • Proficient in multi-channel sales, prospecting, and territory management.
  • Strong business acumen with a strategic ability to think ahead and drive thought leadership.
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills and a persuasive communicator.
  • Strong analytical skills, with a problem-solving attitude.
  • Commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in software, including CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven ability to manage a high-performance sales team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and often high-pressure environment, with proven results.
