Leadership Opportunity

If you're a veteran recruiting/talent acquisition professional looking for the challenge of leading your own team to find the right professionals and grow a company, you could be our Vice President of Talent Acquisition.

The VP of Talent Acquisition will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy. This role involves leading and managing the recruitment and onboarding team, overseeing and elevating all recruitment processes, delivering talent to meet the constantly changing business talent demands, certifying adherence to compliance and regulations, and ensuring our hyper-growth organization attracts and hires the right talent, at the right time, for the right roles.

The ideal candidate must be a player/coach who can dive daily into the details while setting and directing innovative strategies to meet talent needs in a competitive industry and market.

This position is on-site in our downtown Fort Lauderdale HQ offices Monday-Friday.

What You’ll Do


  • Talent Acquisition Strategy: Develop and execute a strategic talent acquisition plan that aligns with the organization's overall business goals and growth objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and lead the talent acquisition team, fostering a high-performance, high-engagement team culture. Ensure team members are equipped with the necessary tools and resources to succeed. Develop a talent structure that provides career ladder progression and professional development for strong key players.
  • Recruitment Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate, enhance, and elevate the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, candidate assessment, interviewing, selection, and onboarding. Take a proactive approach to adjust recruiting workflow when state/federal regulations require process modifications.
  • Employer Branding: Develop and maintain the organization's employer brand, creating a compelling narrative to attract top talent and promote the company as an employer of choice.
  • Technology and Tools: Stay current on recruitment technology trends and implement innovative tools and software to streamline and enhance the recruitment process.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the talent acquisition budget, ensuring cost-effective recruitment strategies.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly report on recruitment metrics, providing insights and data-driven recommendations to improve hiring processes and talent outcomes.
  • Vendor Management: Oversee relationships with external recruitment partners, agencies, and vendors, ensuring they align with the organization's goals and values.
  • Compliance: Ensure all recruitment practices and processes adhere to legal and ethical standards, including anti-discrimination and equal employment opportunity laws.


Requirements

Education/Experience and Other Requirements


  • BS/BA in human resources management, business administration, or relevant field, strongly preferred.
  • 10-14 years of exempt and non-exempt recruiting experience in a full life-cycle environment, including management of multiple high-volume roles simultaneously.
  • Previous experience in a hyper-growth organization; ability to scale and execute talent strategy as the business grows.
  • Experience moving an organization from heavily manual workflow to technology-supported, highly automated, and efficient workflow.
  • Experience managing corporate professional, technical, and executive searches.
  • Successful experience managing third-party vendors to achieve desired business goals.
  • Knowledge of UKG preferred.
  • Must maintain clean background/drug screenings and driving record.


Expertise Needed


  • Highly proficient in computer skills working with various applications, including MS Office.
  • Strong working knowledge of HR functions and procedures (e.g., pay and benefits, recruitment, and training and development).
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Aptitude for critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making.
  • Strength of character, ethics, commitment, and reliability.
