Vice President Operations

We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Operations to oversee and manage all operational activities, ensuring efficient systems and cost-effective solutions that align with our company’s vision and future goals. Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Define and implement operational strategies, structures, and processes to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
• Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire diverse teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
• Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs), proactively identifying areas for improvement and addressing challenges with innovative solutions.
• Budget Oversight: Manage the quarterly and annual budgeting process, including full P&L responsibilities, ensuring financial goals are met.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all operations comply with industry regulations and best practices while managing risk across functions.
• Operational Hiring: Oversee hiring, training, and development of operations staff, including management-level positions.
• Client Relationships: Maintain and enhance relationships with key clients and partners, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
• Vendor Management: Manage relationships with the company’s shipping vendors to optimize delivery processes.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in operations management, preferably within the paper and pulp industry.
• Proven track record of leading teams and driving operational excellence in a dynamic business environment.
• Strong understanding of operations management best practices and familiarity with documentation software.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; MBA preferred.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills.
