Foster Lawson are seeking a dynamic and seasoned Senior Vice President for a leading client in the Renewable Energy space. This executive position requires a visionary leader who can drive our directors, vice presidents, and project management teams toward exceptional project execution.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Oversee and direct all construction activities for solar, wind, and BESS projects, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
  • Operational Excellence: Develop and implement robust operational strategies to ensure timely, on-budget, and high-quality project delivery.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of directors, vice presidents, and project managers.
  • Business Development: Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities to drive growth and enhance our market position.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with clients, suppliers, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance to achieve company objectives and maximize profitability.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project and organizational success.
  • Innovation and Improvement: Promote continuous improvement and innovation in construction practices and technologies.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 15 years of senior leadership experience in the construction industry, with a strong background in utility-scale solar, wind, or BESS projects.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in managing large-scale renewable energy projects, driving operational efficiency, and achieving financial targets.
  • Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership and team-building abilities, with experience managing large, diverse teams.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong business development skills, with the ability to identify and secure new project opportunities.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel nationally to project sites, conferences on a regular basis.
