The Storefronts Manager is responsible for ensuring that all of our forward-facing game pages are created and maintained to the highest standards. Sitting within the Marketing Division and reporting to the Director of Marketing, this individual owns the development and optimization of game store pages across major storefronts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a keen eye for details, an analytics-driven approach to page optimization, and curiosity to experiment with content and copy to improve performance. This role includes part-time oversight of one or more contractors who will assist with task-based work and copywriting.


The position operates within the indie.io Marketing Division, which includes the Project Management, Events, PR, Creative, and Community Management teams. 


What you’ll do


  • Own the creation and maintenance of our storefront pages across PC, Consoles, Authorized Resellers, and Mobile marketplaces - ensuring that all of our games are presented in the best possible way to drive conversions and sales.
  • Brief the Creative Team to develop assets tailored to each title in our portfolio.
  • Manage a team of contractors to ensure that all of the day to day work of creating, updating, and improving store pages is carried out in a timely and efficient manner
  • Develop and run experiments on how we can improve the presentation of our game titles on each platform, analyzing the results to generate actionable insights for improvements.
  • Become the organization’s expert on all aspects of the presentation and sale of games on all platforms, maintaining all related documentation.


What we need


  • Top-tier organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience managing large amounts of content through CMS systems, preferably with direct familiarity of Steamworks, Epic Game Store, Nintendo NCMS, and other gaming backends.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Copywriting/Editing skills, helping to ensure all textual elements are presenting our games in the best manner possible.
  • Relationship management - experience building and maintaining external partnerships.
  • Self-motivated with experience working independently.
