Position Overview

The Videographer/Editor is responsible for spearheading digital content creation, overseeing the editing process, and collaborating with CrossCountry Mortgage leadership to produce final products that align with CCM’s vision and brand. This role collaborates with CCM’s digital marketing team to create and implement digital content strategies and provide recommendations to enhance content throughout the editing process. The Videographer/Editor coordinates with the Assistant to the Video Director and other team members to assist with videography and production tasks.

Job Responsibilities

  • Edit video footage to desired length and format using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
  • Responsible for routine editing assignments to support the Video Director.
  • Organize and manage video files for efficient access and retrieval.
  • Create motion graphics and visual effects as needed.
  • Film events while utilizing knowledge of video camera movement, lighting, and audio for optimal results.
  • Support the Video Director in planning and executing video shoots.
  • Learn and maintain understanding of complex mortgage products and collaborate with internal departments.
  • Ensure timely delivery of edited videos by adhering to project deadlines.

Qualifications And Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Film, Video Production, related field, and/or equivalent combination of education/experience.
  • 4+ years’ experience in digital marketing and strategy, with a focus on video editing.
  • Experience in video editing is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and/or other video editing software.
  • Knowledge of video editing techniques and workflows.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing principles.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent collaboration skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to present solutions and resolve conflicts.
